The cotton variants are spun here in the USA, and hand dyed in Portland by They generally last about 18-24 months with 24/7 wear. The tarred nylon option is pigmented rather than dyed, and fades like raw denim over time. The Polyester Plait-Splice cord I hand spin in-house using thread remnants left from the creation of Soft Shackle bracelets. It is spliced by yours truly using an original approach that creates a braided effect.
All variants will fade somewhat over time, and may stretch slightly.
